- Following his successful car-jumping stunt, Vince's devil-may-care attitude causes problems for Ari, who is negotiating with the NFL. Eric is dragged into Drama's search for a TV series. Turtle has problems with an ex-employee.
- Vince's new attitude - and new look (he gets a close-cut haircut) - after his near-death experience causes a public relations crisis for his career. Vince believes that the movie is a wrap and hence goes ahead with the haircut. Vince gives an interview where he talks about doing his own stunts with Nick and kind of suggests that he doesn't feel that the movie is going to be great. Vince believes he was being funny and that this is not a big deal as he didn't mean any of it to sound negative. Shauna (Debi Mazar) talks to the magazine to edit the interview, but the mag exec Maria (Paulette Lamori) is angry at Shauna for screwing her ex-husband and tells her to take a hike. Shauna asks Ari to get the magazine to take care of it.
During a big meeting over the NFL TV rights, Ari attempts to fix the problem. Ari had a meeting with the NFL executives after 25 calls and this is his one shot to land the deal for his agency.
Luckily, agent Lizzie Grant (Autumn Reeser) is there to take some heat off him (She knows more about football than Ari), but indirectly lands him in more trouble. The NFL bosses call Ari and tell him that they always do the sale of TV rights internally (the 32 owners jointly decide how to sell the TV rights). They offer Ari the chance own an NFL team in LA. This way Ari becomes an owner and can also pitch for the rights. This means big bucks for Ari. Ari is the middle of celebrating with Lizzie, when Mrs Ari walks in & finds her husband celebrating with a girl who had sex with Andrew & caused their marriage to fall apart.
Drama continues to panic over finding a job, so Eric offers to go through scripts with him while Eric faces his own problems in the form of colleague, Scott Lavin (Scott Caan) who tries to persuade Eric that they'd be better working together. E doesn't like any of the scripts and tells Drama that he will call around some show-runners and see if he can someone to write a show around Drama. Drama wants E to be his manager.
Vince is on an adrenaline high since his car stunt and is seeking adventure. He reads a magazine which has a story about an adrenaline junkie who died in a car accident. Vince realizes that he hasn't lived his life yet and it could all end any time. He agrees to do a free fall plane skydiving thingy with Scott when he meets Scott while visiting E at his office. Scott asks Vince not to tell E as he would only try to talk him out of it.
Turtle's corporate credit card is declined at a diner as it is maxed out. Turtle learns that someone charged $10,000 on his corporate credit card and Alex (Dania Ramirez) is the main suspect. Alex admits to using Turtle's card at Tiffany's for $1000 to get his mom a present, like Turtle asked her to. But she doesn't know anything about $10,000. Turtle checks and Tiffany's admit that they added a "0" by mistake. Turtle apologizes to Alex. He admits that he was hitting on Alex, but tells her that he owes her one.
Nick calls Ari & is angry with Vince's new haircut. He wants to re-shoot a couple of scenes and can't do it with the new hairdo. Vince had told E that he cleared with Nick, but Nick told Ari that Vince didn't. E & Ari call Vince, just seconds before he falls out of the plane for his skydiving adventure.
