Sex & Nudity

  • A girl distracts a group of robbers in a hardware shop before the police arrive, by telling them jokes about various ways they can sexually violate their mothers, and demonstrates this with several objects including a turkey baster.
  • No actual scenes of sex or nudity are depicted on-screen but there's quite a few references.
  • Two men pee over a high-rise. One man stares down at the other's crotch and the other remarks about how it's rude to look down while peeing.
  • Running bestiality joke (a doctor sleeps with a patient, but he's not just any doctor, he's a veterinarian).
  • The guy whom Daisy befriends questions her about Violet being beat-up and left in a dumpster, asking her if "is that ALL those guys did to her?" (implying that Violet may have been raped by them).
  • A man claims to have had an affair with his wife.
  • Violet says that in her idea of Heaven, everyone would be naked because that's how they came into this world.

Violence & Gore

  • Two girls get into a brief fist fight and struggle.
  • A man is bludgeoned to death with a fire extinguisher, though it's not too graphic.
  • Lots of shooting and gunshot wounds seen.
  • Two girls jump on the dead bodies of the men they just killed, and blood is seen spurting out of their mouths.
  • Two girls are held at gunpoint, and then at knife-point.
  • A girl shoots a man offscreen.
  • The manner in which the girls murder their victims is both casual and disturbing, in particular the way they act as though it's a game. They do what they call the "internal bleeding dance", in which they turn up a song on the radio and then dance on top of dead bodies, making the bodies cough up blood. Daisy says "I want the fat one!" At times the girls appear almost sociopathic in nature.
  • Mentioning of a girl being locked in a dumpster and possibly raped or sexually assaulted.
  • A girl punches a mirror and injures her hand.
  • It is implied that Violet may have murdered her former partner, a girl called Rose.
  • A man wants to be shot by the girls because he is dying of pancreatic cancer. Instead, they befriend him.

Profanity

  • Lots of uses of profanity, including 34 uses of the f word. A girl tells a joke about a veterinarian having sex with the animals he treats.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Daisy says she is going outside to smoke a cigarette, taking a full pack with her.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The two girls are essentially anti heroes, as they are quite sociopathic and carry out their assassinations like it's a game. This results in several moments of black comedy.
  • Some thematic material, including two characters having an estranged relationship with their fathers, a character that is implied to have been raped, and a character missing her dead partner.
  • Tonally dark throughout and has intense sequences.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The ending scene is very emotional and intense, due to the girl's victim being a man they got to know and befriended. He has cancer and asks them to kill him.
