Without comparisons, probably the worst episode in the entire show!!
I am a fan of AMERICAN DAD and I have even bought the DVD set for this season as it had the highest rated episode in the entire series (RAPTURE'S DELIGHT) in it and I like most of the episodes (and that's why I decided to rate and review the ones that struck me most). However when I came across this episode I thought that I had never found such a dumb and hateful episode as this one and that's why I consider it the very worst in the series (even worse than STAN'S BEST FRIEND, and this is saying a lot!!).
Francine wants to go on a wine tasting site along with Stan and Roger (after they bought a friendship gold chain). However Stan is called at work for an emergency and Francine remains alone with Roger. They drink so much wines that they become drunk and when they are in the same hotel room, Roger ends up kissing her very passionately. After Francine returns normal she wants to tell this to Stan, but Roger does everything possible for stopping her (including burying her alive underground). When she finally manages to tell it to Stan he becomes so angry towards Roger to the point of beating him to death (and it was the only moment during the viewing of the episode that I felt happy as Roger truly deserved it!)
I really wanted to like this episode. However, more the time passed, more I felt very angry and frustrated towards all the characters (and it almost never happened to me). Roger was so annoying and I really hated his action towards Francine (and I was happy when Stan beated him to a pulp at the very end as I said to myself ''What a slimy friend he dared to trust!) and the other storyline was even more awful as Klaus and Hayley made Steve believe that he was living a lucid dream (only managing to killing another classmate and break his legs just like it happened to Joe Swanson from FAMILY GUY).
Overall, it truly deserves my nomination as the worst episode in the entire series as it had nothing worth recommended and it was also quite awful to stomach after it was over. If you are a fan of the show and you are reading this review, then avoid it like poison! It made me cringe a lot too and there are so many wonderful episodes in the entire series that you can easily skip this one.
