  Stefan Salvatore : We have to take these moments Elena. Alright? What Katherine did to Caroline could just be the beginning and... and then there's things with Tyler's family which we don't even understand yet, I know there's always the D word but I came back to this town to start a life with you. We can't forget to live it.

  Elena Gilbert : [Smiles]  Stefan, how are we going to get to the top?

  Stefan Salvatore : I guess you'll just have to hold on tight.

  [He wraps his arms around Elena before jumping up to the top of the Ferris Wheel] 

• Damon Salvatore : I like this. You... walking on eggshells around me because you think I'm going to explode. It's very suspenseful. Is Elena worried too? I bet I'm your every conversation.

  Stefan Salvatore : Have you heard from Katherine?

  Damon Salvatore : [ignoring the question]  I think the Lockwood's have a family secret. 'Cause the Gilbert device effected them but vervain didn't, so they're not vampires, they're something else.

  Stefan Salvatore : Is this your new obsession?

  Damon Salvatore : Oh, you'd rather some unknown supernatural element running rampant in our town. Fine, I'll drop it.

  Stefan Salvatore : We haven't seen the last of Katherine. You do know that, right? We have no idea what she's up to.

  Damon Salvatore : Sure we do. She came back to press her undying eternal love for you. So I'll let you deal with her, 'cause I have more important things to do like... explode.

• Damon Salvatore : [pouring contents of blood transfusion bag into glass]  Would you care for one?

  Stefan Salvatore : No. Thank you. Not hungry. Just ate.

  Damon Salvatore : [teasing]  Aren't you worried that one day all the forest animals are gonna band together and fight back? I mean, surely they talk?

  Stefan Salvatore : I'm just happy that's a, uh... a blood bag and not a sorority girl supplying your dinner.

• Elena Gilbert : I was just hoping that this carnival would reel him back into the land of high-school teenager.
