I'm loving it!!

Warning: Spoilers
I'm so surprised I actually like this show so far! During episode 1 I was worried because it felt a bit hollow and I was unsure of how it would turn out, but by the time episode 2 is over I'm so hooked!

They've done such a good job at setting this show apart from the original. They haven't relied on constant references to the original or anything. They've taken the time to establish these new characters and VERY different story which I love to see.

I find all the characters likable so far and enjoyable to watch and by episode 3 the series has found it's footing, and it's doing such a good job. I hope it continues well and the reveals and twists turn out to be shocking! I'm so excited.

Questionable writing that doesn't ruin the show

Warning: Spoilers
So far 'PLL:original sin' has surprised me. In a good way. I didn't think i would like the sort of slasher drama horror style they have going on but i find myself liking it. Even with some cliché horror movie elements/scenes. One thing that annoyed me was the writing about the investigation, i get that it is a small town, but the entire sheriffs office consisting of only ONE person???? In the 21st century??? A lot of stuff especially around the investigation is really unrealistic to the way that it irks me, but it's not bad enough to ruin the show for me.

The first 3 episodes got me hooked

Warning: Spoilers
I was very skeptical after finishing Episode 1, but episodes 2 and 3 were amazing! I'm already so involved with the mystery and everything that happened "that night" of Angela's death. The whole mystery seems to have so many layers and we got so many questions unanswered - I just hope this time it's not as messy as the original PLL (which was btw camp and iconic) and that there aren't too many plot holes. The new PLL group is very likeable except for that girls who keeps making movie references - so annoying. And I love how this time around the moms are involved and have their own high school story line that's obviously gonna be revealed very soon. Also my earliest guess is that Angela is actually alive and that she's A. Or at least someone who's related so her in whatever way.

[5.7] The aftermath of a strawberry lollipop
cjonesas3 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Episode 3: Besides the acting and some show of emotions, everything else is sub-par, being its thrill or lack of, its suspense or lack of, the sheriff office with one steadily enraged sheriff in it, the school head or director who's basically a puppet in the sheriff's "hands" and the school comity.

Imogen is impossible to bear, is highly uncharismatic as a person and an "actor", basically dragging her naive friends to disaster.

So far, the show of emotions has been the forte of the show, whereas 'A' is the weakest link and the most incredulous one. Each time I see 'A' in that small town, that nobody besides the girls is aware of, i'm hit with conflicting emotions. His behavior is unrealistic and his presence leads to nothing enthralling so far. Wish the sheriff and he come face to face...

Kelly's Funeral
ZegMaarJus4 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This Episode begins with Imogen, she sees that Karen just got killed by A. Imogen saw the masked killer. Sheriff Beasley is opening a investigation against the girls after his daughter Karen died. Tabby and Imogen are on a mission to discover who A is. Sidney tells the story about Angela to Tabby and Imogen. Karen her funeral is today. The girls got saved by Kelly her statement, they can go on learning at school. Faran got back in the dancing class. The girls see A in a red van. Solid Episode of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, in this Episode there was not the tention that i expect from this Series. Let's keep the good killing vibe going!

no evidence but you're guilty!
namstak12 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Oh gosh who writes scripts like THAT? That's a real rubbish. 5 girls immediately are guilty in so-called murder because people told that - and words become an evidence but girls become outlaws. Really, you're serious dude? Why sheriff stays in principle room to manage 'the case'? Why mothers believe the words and rumours when nobody have proofs for the things their girls had done if you ask people around (words words words!). That's a stupid script. Embarrassing writing. First episode was promising much but then.... now we have what we have. I couldn't go further with this series after episode 3.
