Judges are good, why people r judging them negative , dont understand, plzz dont compare the show with english versions, ....all the judges r good..,!!

  • Veenita (Sugar) = Imotional & Hilti Dulti Toy(Guddiya) , a good human but as a shark she lacks the attitude.

  • Anupam mittal = Balanced & a gentleman, backbone of the show👍

  • Namita thapppar = classy lady but her expertises r limited 😄, thodi kanjoos bhi hai... but she is a FarMaa

  • Ashneer Grover = Real Shark 🦈, u cant imagine the show without him. (Ye sab doggalapan hai 😄, just loved him)

  • Piyush bansal = A gem of a person, came late in the show but won the hearts. My personal fav 🤘

  • Ghazal Alagh = Sweet, beautiful soul & face but added no value to the show..!!

  • Aman gupta = is Fun. Happy go lucky go,, he addded fun to the show 👍

We need season 2 - very soon.

PHENOMENAL!
callmejacrispy19 January 2022
This is exactly what India needs amid the cesspool of pointless shows such as Roadies. Alas, the youth will stop idolising imbeciles after being introduced to the bevy of young dynamic entrepreneurs. For an adaptation, the makers have done a commendable job in the production of this show. Shark Tank will connect to each one of you regardless of your age. Hugely informative and enjoyable, I just cannot recommend this more.

My most topmost favourite shark is ANUPAM MITTAL sir.

This guy is awesome in terms of knowledge, personality and dignity. Thier something unique ,classy yet filled with simplicity in anupam sir. Wish i could achieve even 1% to become like him.

2nd most favourite is Aman Complete entertainment package. Aman sir has every colour of emotions.

Don't listen to the haters

I've watched all season of Shark Tank US. I did undergrad in US, worked then came back to start my own business. I can promise you shark tank india is 100% legit. The way investors are in india are absolutely different from us. Like you viewers are. But it's so good, relatable and real. For growing Entreprenuers, parents, teachers. It's a must show to watch.

Good and entertaining show

I have started watching this recently and liking this show. I don't watch daily soaps but this show is good for entertainment. The judges are also experienced and overall its a good timepass. Ranvijay is wasted in the show.

Worth every minute - amazing
tdqvpcnrbx20 January 2022
Well, the show is simply amazing. We binged watch over two days. It tells you how swiftly the wave of entrepreneurship is sweeping India and this is what will transform India.

However, the hook is the sharks - Aman is my favorite, closely followed by Anupam. I don't like Ashneer's bluntness, but I think he is the core element and his bluntness acts like chili in the food. The squabble and competition among these sharks, keeps the show lively.

Keep it up and bring more talent in.

A great start
patelpriyank-4449023 December 2021
Had skepticism about the show after it was announced but after watching the first episode it feels like a really good beginning. Those who are whining about the show clearly don't understand the fundamentals of business, It's not at par with the US counterpart but it's somewhat similar to the lines of Australian version. Hoping to see further improvements in content quality and variety of startups and less advertisements.

Super addictive, brilliant show with drama and thrills...
anuraggaur164 February 2022
Shark tank India can't be better, and the mix of judges lined up is truly phenomenal. Ashneer brings in ruthlessness and real business mind, Aman is a true delhi boy living life on the sleeves, Piyush is so poised and understated and he has than philanthropist hidden inside him, Anupam is a seasoned campaigner and very subtle, Namita oozes elegance and very smart woman she is .. I mean what can I say biggest compliment for the show is that after KBC it's the only show which me and my father watch together, I really wish that this startup wave in India fuelled by start up India initiatives can take India to other level and reverse brain drain starts with everyone pitching in to take Indian back to its glory days. Those who Are comparing with US shark tank dude India is an Enigma a paradox which has its own beauty and things which work in US won't work here, so get over ur colonial hangover and be proud of what you are..

A fresh wave to Indian Tv
wwwboro30 January 2022
Educating youth, bringing revolution to indian tv. Don't criticize and give negative review without going deep to the show. Anupam Mittal is a gem of person. May be Ashneer looks rude, but he gives genuine review. Vineeta, Namita saves entrepreneurs from getting loss.

Plz stop adding drama through back stories
priyatham211125 December 2021
First couple of episodes were good but it started becoming like Indian Idol and Indian tv shows with drama between sharks and contestant's back stories.

Stop doing that and believe in the concept.

Steep fall from Season 1
abhyuday-tandon12 January 2023
The show has taken a sharp decline from the high standards it set for itself in Season 1. The current season feels like any other Indian soap with the concept of entrepreneurship being sidelined and emotional coercion of the viewer being exploited to drive viewership. The sharks barring Peyush Gupta sound like any other reality TV judges by pandering to the participants emotional distress and focusing more on cheap jokes rather than actual business and numbers. The moment a participant cracks a joke or speaks of some personal trauma, the judges completely sidetrack the investment decision and dwell on the drama which is the cheapest form of entertainment in my opinion. In the previous season, Ashneer Grover was an extremely rude shark and took things too far at times but i'd still prefer him any day over these faux investors (again barring Peyush). With Ashneer there was an actual discussion and genuine feedback provided to the participants, he was very blunt about why he did/did not invest which is helpful for both the participants and is great learning for the audience. Really hoping the sharks get shuffled next season and some genuine entrepreneurs are bought on the show.

An outstanding show that feels like a breath of fresh air and a ray of hope in the gloomy world of Indian Television.
Perspicuity11 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I have never seen Shark Tank, so I had no idea how a show about entrepreneurs and investors would pan out and what kind of entertainment would viewers find in a show like this. I was quite skeptical about the show and only started watching it after Rohan Joshi and Tanmay Bhat's interview with two of the sharks. After watching the first few episodes, all my fears were put to rest, as Shark Tank India turned out to be an extremely enjoyable show. I was astonished to see a show of this quality on Indian Television ! What makes me even happier is that people are actually loving this show. Over the years Indian Television has touched new lows and it's baffling to know that a show like 'Big Boss' is the most watched Indian Television Show. The success of Shark Tank India indicates that all is not lost and there is still hope for Indian Television Programming to regain its lost glory.

THE THINGS THAT ARE GOOD :

1. It goes without saying that Ashneer Grover and Aman Gupta are the main reason why this show has achieved the popularity that it has. The two of them have contrasting personalities, one being overly critical and in your face, while the other being over friendly and high on enthusiasm, but they have created a space for themselves with their inimitable style and added a lot of excitement to the show. Ashneer and Aman say the things that you would never expect to be said in an Indian television show. I never expected a show like this to have so much humour, and Aman and Ashneer are primarily responsible for that. I thought that this would be just another business show, where serious conversations would take place and bore viewers like me, but that did not happen. There is a lot of entertainment in this show and even the business part has been done so well, that even as a viewer with not much knowledge of business and economics, one can understand everything and find it interesting. One must give credit to Ashneer for explaining everything in a way that is understandable to everyone. When Ashneer talks, you just want to listen, not only because he doesn't mince words while giving his opinion but also because he actually offers good advice to all the entrepreneurs. Kudos to the casting team for finding someone like him because he really knows how to talk and because of him, a show like this has become quite an engaging watch. The one week when both Aman and Ashneer were not present in the show, Shark Tank turned into a fish tank. The show just wasn't the same without the two of them.

2. Nobody likes to watch the same thing over and over again, we all want something new after a period of time, and this show achieves that by pitching in new products and ideas in every episode. As a viewer, we are always curious to know what kind of work these entrepreneurs are doing, what kind of change they are trying to bring in the society. These entrepreneurs are not just regular businessmen/women who are selling some commonly used products, they are trying to find solutions to the problems faced by people in their daily lives, some of them have actually done a lot of research and developed some new products that might become really big in the future. For once we are not just talking about singing and dancing in a reality show, but some actual work that people do for a living and that is definitely something worth looking forward to.

3. The conversation that takes place between the entrepreneurs and sharks feels very real and unscripted, and that is a relief considering what has been happening in the other reality shows over the years. There is no unnecessary drama and for the most part the conversations remain extremely civil and polite. There was no unnecessary sob story and at no point did the creators try to play with our emotions. The creators have tried to keep the show as real as possible, and that is truly commendable, 4. The selection of Sharks has been pretty good. Aman and Ashneer make the proceedings exciting through their contrasting style of talking, humour and banter. Vineeta Singh brings in a lot of energy with her (it feels like she cannot control her excitement, no wonder her hands move so much!), gives great feedback, does not try to intimidate or insult the participants, encourages the entrepreneurs who have to go back with an empty hand and more often than not makes an offer. These three sharks make sure that you don't lose interest in the episode at any given point. Then there is Anupam Mittal, who talks in a much more relaxed manner than Aman, Ashneer and Vineeta. He is the most experienced of the sharks and it shows, because he never loses his cool, and always tries to talk in the most respectful of manners to the participants. Then there is Peyush Bansal, who is the man with no pretense at all. Peyush is always on point, talk's mainly about business and never tries to be dramatic in any way. He is the only shark who actually invested in an idea before it became a business, he reposed his faith in a man who had put his entire life in creating something and had no resources to go on to the next step. That investment would have given a lot of hope to the budding entrepreneurs who have an interesting idea, but don't have the money to do anything about it.

5. A number of business terms are used in the show, which might be understood by those who have studied Economics or have done business, but what about other viewers? Terms like EBITDA, D2C, valuation, supply chain, equity, QSR etc just don't register in their head, which is why the sharks often explain the meaning of such terms, something that I find truly praiseworthy. If you pay attention, there is a lot to learn from the sharks, as they not only hand out offers but also provide information about how the world of business works.

6. The set design, camerawork and background music of the show is excellent. The set is completely different from what we have seen so far, and the whole concept of entrepreneurs walking through the corridor and entering the room full of sharks by opening that massive door, which resembles that of some great palace, makes for great viewing, especially with that amazing score.

7. The first season had a fantastic finale, where the sharks let their guards down and talked almost as if it was a get together of friends. The format was of course the same, with entrepreneurs pitching in their products, but this time there was more humour, a lot of it actually, and less arguments. Of course the ending was the best, with Peyush pitching in his company and Vineeta (who looked gorgeous in that red dress), Aman and Ashneer hilariously trolling him !

THE THINGS THAT ARE NOT SO GOOD :

1. Shark Namita may have become a meme by opting out of most deals, but seriously speaking, it doesn't make a lot of sense for someone who has no expertise in most of the businesses to sit on that chair. Namita mostly invested in businesses that had something to do with medicine, her own field, and stayed away from most other businesses. It's one thing to get rejected by the entrepreneurs, but she very rarely made an offer. Her presence was quite funny no doubt, but also questionable. Why not have someone who has a much broader mindset when it comes to investment?

2. Shark Ghazal was not required at all. She came for just one week and did not add anything to the show. When I look back at the show, I don't recall any memorable moment associated with her. Ghazal came across as too slow and uninterested in the show. Instead of calling a shark for such a short time period, it would have been much better to schedule the filming as per the availability of the sharks. I really hope they don't bring her back the next season and keep six sharks in each episode.

3. From the trailers that were released, one can observe that a lot of episodes were not broadcast. Some of the products were based on technology, like the one that had solar panels, and I was really looking forward to all of them, but those deals were not shown. I just hope that the channel did not cut episodes that they felt would have been too intelligent for the viewers. Time and again, producers have hinted that the Indian audience is dumb, because they love shows like Big Boss and Naagin, but that is not entirely true. Times are changing, audience is evolving and with a massive population like India, shows of all kinds will find an audience.

4. The Show is titled 'Shark Tank India' not Shark Tank North India, so they should not impose Hindi language on the entrepreneurs. When you are making a show that invites people from all over the country to participate, then you can't really force them to talk in a language they are not comfortable in. Knowledge of Hindi language should not be a criteria for participating in the show.

5. Rannvijay is technically the host of the show, but his actual role is to take the name of the sponsors. The creators could have just used a voice over to do that, there was no need to hire Rannvijay for it.

To sum it up, Shark Tank India is a fantastic show that is a must watch for everyone. It took a long time for a show like this to come to India and even when it has, I still can't believe that a show like this was approved for Indian Television. It's a reality show that is actually real, and that speaks volumes of the quality that it offers. I just hope that the creators don't try to add unnecessary drama to it, and make it like other reality shows. Shark Tank India should remain as candid as it is right now. I do hope though that the producers don't block episodes thinking that the viewers might not be smart enough to understand anything. Also, all the sharks should be present in every episode, it's a basic scheduling issue and I see no reason why the producers can't find a fix for it.

Perfect Reality Show
betmarket82 February 2022
This show is just brilliant. I had stopped watching reality shows long back but after this show, I am expecting a big change in Indian reality shows.

My request to all those reality shows producers is just don't spoil youth try to understand what youth wants and we really like to see something like this. We are not interested in "Big Boss"/Roadies/Splitsvilla uhh...

The best part of this show is the Judges ... My favorite is Ashneer Grover. People are saying he is rude ..he isn't. That's how business works. You have to be honest.

Just loved it.

Elitist people are hating this show. Common people are enjoying it!
vvb1220 February 2022
Just take few seconds and see how every negative review has "Shark Tank USA" in it.

It's quite clear that why those people have issues with this show. They were fortunate to know about the USA version and they want to look cool. Apart from that people have issue with the show being melodramatic.

I don't understand why and "Indian" show needs to be like USA show? We Indians are mostly emotional beings and thus the way (majority of us) interpret things differently. Why we have to be like the show in USA in the first place?

I know the show has flaws but the show not being like it's USA version can't be one. On the contrary I am glad that it's not as it is copy of USA version. I watch the show with my family and even though none of us have any background of business or any interest in it we enjoy the show. Show gets better with each episode and I am sure this show will bring some positive changes in India!

A unique concept for Indian Television
ishansharma-6368323 January 2022
I was really excited about the Indian adaptation of Shark Tank. Given how international shows(MasterChef) are not well matched to those airing internationally, Shark Tank India proves me wrong.

All the Sharks are great, they make the pitchers be relax and make fun of each other while they try to snatch a deal. It's so fun and refreshing to watch! Hope it gets more TRP in the coming seasons.

Thank you Sony for giving us something great to watch. I'm addicted!

Everything is fine just get rid of Ranvijay and Melodrama
Nel87710 January 2022
As I said already in the title it's a great show. Just get a fresh new host and keep things more raw. You aren't catering to the audience who's into melodramatic stuff like those videos and stuff you guys make with the families of participants. If you guys take these feedbacks the show will be wat better than what it is right now.

Ashneer Grover
pratisanjeevgupta12 January 2023
Show is very bland without Ashneer. Could've replaced Namita Thapar,,,,, She isn't adding any value to the show right now,,,,, Ashneer was my favourite from the second episode, because like others I too thought of him as a very rude entrepreneur in the beginning. But he was the only one who was serious among all, and also Peyush Bansal, he too is a great entrepreneur. Aman Gupta also on point.

A brand "Recode" came in this season and wasn't given any investment just because it was their friend's company's rival, but that's not how this show should work right. Last time Hammer and now with this brand.

Bring Ashneer in any one of the episodes and trust me that episode's trp will sky rocket🚀...

Totally Worth watching
advravituteja2 February 2022
It is a very good show for Indian audience. In most Indian households, there isnt much talk about startup and all these financial terms but shark tank india tries best to bring startup into mainstream. Now many ppl are comparing it with US one so they need to understand that both markets are different, ppl in both countries are different and there is a Little bit masala bcoz Sony will obviously not take complete risk of making it ultra serious. Also I think sharks are not that egoistic, if someone is wasting time in stupid business and they are telling him this, then it's better than a sugar coated reply.
