Not What You Usually See At The Thrift Shop
ccthemovieman-119 January 2012
Wow, I can't say I wouldn't be shocked myself if I was shopper and discovered body parts at a local Thrift Shop.

Even worse, the dead person's mouth is packed with the cremation remains of another person. What the heck is this all about? Between what was in the victim's mouth and his cut-up body parts discovered at a Salvation Army-type store, the CSI men and women have a lot to figure out.

However, the writers still found time to install a small personal segment as "Ray Langston's" ex-wife visits the CSI building to tell Ray some big news, which Ray handles well.

Quartered Body

Two old women in a thrift store open boxes that have just bought. They find a human head and a foot inside. Nick and Sara arrive to investigate and Det. Frankie Reed gives the driver's route and list of address where he the boxes were collected. In the laboratory, Nick finds cremains in the mouth and then with Sara and David Phillip, the uncover the rest of the body parts in the other boxes. Later they find that the victim was drugged and unconscious when he was fed with the cremains. They succeed to identify the cremains that belong to Sabrina Pose, who died in a car accident. The victim is her husband Ronald, who lived with his thirteen-year-old daughter Camryn, and his house was the crime scene. They suspect of his former girlfriend Sydney Preston, who left his house when she found that he was cheating on her, but they find also another DNA.

"All That Cremains" is an episode of "CSI" with a weird murder case. The victim, Ronald Pose, is quartered and with human cremated remains in his mouth. The investigation is well developed and well resolved, but the murderer is a great surprise. My vote is seven.

Couldn't Happen

Warning: Spoilers
A man's body is found in different boxes sent to a thrift store. He has been decapitated and has ligature marks from tight wires. He has had lots of relationships and one in particular seemed the most significant. That was all well and good until we find out who the murderer was. There's no way that the teenage daughter could have accomplished what she did. All that blood and gore. Dragging his body to another room, dismembering it. Joe the butcher couldn't have done this. It's as if they said that the murderer had to be the one you feel is least likely to do it.
