Based on the testimonies of those most closely involved, "Five Daughters" tells the story of the five young women murdered in the small British town of Ipswich in the winter of 2006 by Steve Wright. All of the women were battling with drug addiction and worked as street prostitutes to fund their habit. The film, made with the co-operation of the police and local drug agencies, concentrates on the last weeks of their lives, the effects of their deaths on their families, and the police investigation to find the murderer.
