The episode opens with a scene inside a club. Ben and Cam are surprised when they find Nancy who is escorting two blonde buyers from Saint Louis. The girls are in town to check out new trends, and who is better qualified than Nancy to show them around the fun places? The guys want to interest Kirsten and Christen into getting an order for Crisp. Nancy rejects the idea, but she has not gotten to the guy she was supposed to connect the guys with, either.
Rachel is clearly bored with the new job. She is definitely not into it, but it must have to do for now. Having made a lunch date with Domingo, she is upset when he shows up a half hour later. The 'thing' between them has fizzled out, or so is the impression one gets from seeing them together.
Rene is seen taking a delivery to Long Island. Rasta Monsta in the suburbs? Well, it is a start. His calls to Debbie go unanswered. It is obvious she is trying to avoid seeing him. Rene is not happy with this rejection. He decides to go have a talk with the woman he loves; Debbie is cold, even though she lets him in into her apartment. Debbie, contrary to what Rene thought, is not happy about the incident with the earrings, she is worried that Nilda, her daughter, is hanging out with a lesbian crowd she does not like. Rene goes out to get her. After he finds Nilda, he takes her home to a n appreciative Debbie.
Rachel, now free to do whatever she wants goes out with Lulu to a new place in Bushwick, Brooklyn, to a house party that turns out to be a blast. As Lulu decides she wants to go home, Rachel decides she wants to stay with this crowd for the fun of doing something different. The guy she speaks to stops the party and orders everyone out to get on their bicycles for a night ride through the deserted streets of Brooklyn.
Ben and Cam go after the visiting buyers. They find them as they are leaving the hotel. They are hard to talk to because they are super charged by their stay in Manhattan. The girls tell them they will go with Nancy to a new place, but the guys have a better place for them to go. That night they take them to a new club that is hot. Nancy arrives unannounced, clearly annoyed at Ben and Cam for taking the women out. One of the guests at the party is wearing a Crisp creation so the girls flip over the effect. Going home, Ben take Nancy in a taxi where he begins kissing her, but she is not receptive. A bit later, Nancy turns to Ben, kissing him.
An inspired Miguel Arteta, the director, shows great affinity for the material in an episode unlike the ones one has seen so far in the season. Arty Nelson and Donal Lardner Ward wrote the screenplay. The attraction between Ben and Nancy comes to a head, something one suspected all along. The two buyers are also fun to watch in the contrast from their Mid West attitude and the fast night life Manhattan has to offer. The regulars and the guest cast do a good job for Mr. Arteta, a marvelous addition to the show.
