- Teams fly to San Francisco, the final destination of the race. When they arrive they must make their way to military outpost Battery Godfrey. Brent & Caite leave first and tell us they "want to freakin' win." Jet & Cord have never won anything together. Dan & Jordan could not be more excited about going to gay-friends California.
All the teams meet up at the airport and congratulate one another. Despite arriving six hours later, Jordan place his backpack in front of Jet & Cord and take that to mean he is second in line. While Brent & Caite get their tickets, Jet & Cord opening discuss knocking over Jordan or "kicking his teeth in." Ultimately Jet & Cord allow them to buy their tickets first without incident.
On the plane Dan & Jordan have a stewardess move them up to first class while the other two teams sleep. Dan & Jordan are off the plane and in a taxi well before the other teams.
Dan & Jordan are first to the next clue which is a riddle. Teams must figure out the next stop is Coit Tower, which offers a 360 degree view of the city. Brent & Caite are in second but their cab driver appears to miss the stop. Jet & Cord jump ahead of them.
Dan & Jordan find a bicyclist who has heard of Coit Tower. Jet & Cord get to the clue and Cord recognizes from the riddle that it must be Coit. Brent & Caite's driver cannot find Battery Godfrey.
Dan & Jordan get to Coit Tower first and find the next clue: One team member must make a 120-foot climb to the top of the tower's archway before getting the next clue. Dan gets the call and starts the climb.
Brent & Caite still struggle with their cab driver and Caite appears to losing her cool.
Jet & Cord arrive at the tower and Cord starts to climb. Brent & Caite finally reach the first clue with the riddle.
Dan finishes and learns that teams must next find the Yoda Fountain in front of LucasFilm's Industrial Light & Magic studio. Dan & Jordan's cab driver calls and finds out where the Yoda fountain is located. Cord is about halfway through the climb.
Brent & Caite find out they need to go to Coit Tower.
Dan & Jordan get to ILM and find the next task. One team member must wear a motion capture suit in one room while the other guides them via computer through a virtual world to the next clue. Dan will be the 'director' while Jordan is the 'searcher.'
Cord gets the clue and starts his descent. They get their Yoda clue.
Dan has a head set on and will be talking to Jordan through his helmet. Jordan is walking through a virtual ship.
Jet & Cord arrive at ILM.
Cord, who will be the director, sits down in a cubicle next to Dan. Despite not having his headset on yet, he starts giving fake directions in order to throw up Dan & Jordan's communication. Jet gets his gear on and starts hunting.
Dan gets Jordan to the goal area.
Brent begins climbing up Coit Tower.
To read a spinning clue on the computer, Dan has Jordan turn his head back and forth. At this point Jordan is in Jet's way but he won't step forward until Jordan moves. Cord tells Dan to have Jordan moves and Dan bangs on the partition and curses at him. Jordan is spinning so Dan can read the words on the screen and Jet finally edges forward.
Dan & Jordan get their clue: Teams must head to one of the country's first tiki bars, The Tonga Room.
Jet gets to the end and Cord is trying to figure out the spinning letters. Dan & Jordan get in their cab. Cord isn't figuring out how to read the letters. Caite puts on the motion capture suit. Cord still doesn't realize that having Jet move in circles is the way for him to read the final clue.
Dan & Jordan get to Tonga where they are instructed to grab a large chest and take it to the Great American Music Hall. They end up getting directions at the front desk of a gym.
Cord finally figures out that Jet needs to spin in order for him to read the words. Brent & Caite get to the clue and he has her start spinning. At about the same time Cord and Brent both figure out Tonga is the next stop. Both teams get into cabs but Brent & Caite have left their money back in ILM.
Dan & Jordan are running with their chest as Jet & Cord get to Tonga and grab theirs. Jet & Cord get the address for the music hall from a cab driver.
Dan & Jordan arrive at the music hall and read the next clue: Inside their chest are 11 posters, eight with the eliminated teams and three with the non-elimination weeks. Once teams hang the posters in the correct chronologic order of the season they will get the final clue.
Having watched the show in the past, Jordan made sure to write down who was eliminated each week. They finish the challenge quickly and get the final clue. Teams are given a clue directing them to Candlestick Park, home of the NFL's 49ers. Sports fan Dan knows instantly where they're supposed to go.
Jet & Cord get to work on the posters. Dan & Jordan struggle to find a taxi.
Jet & Cord finish the poster challenge and also know they are supposed to find Candlestick Park. Jet & Cord grab a taxi.
Cut to Phil standing on the field flanked by the eliminated teams from throughout the season. Dan & Jordan run though an inflatable helmet and are told they are the $1 million winners. Jordan says this was a dream come true.
Jet & Cord come running in next. Jet says being able to travel around the world with their integrity intact is more important than money.
Brent & Caite show up and Phil tells them they are team No. 3. Caite says she wanted to prove she was an intelligent person and proud of herself. Carol & Brandy take the opportunity tell her that she made a mistake U-Turning them and not Jet & Cord.
