What Remains of Chainsaw
Horror's Hallowed Grounds (2008)
Sean Clark takes us to the deep part of Texas to look at the shooting locations for Tobe Hooper's classic THE Texas CHAIN SAW MASSACRE. This episode is certainly another winning and especially for fans of the film. We get to visit the graveyard, the original Leatherface house as well as the location where the Sawyer house and the dried up pond were. Fans of the film will certainly get a kick out of seeing how the locations look today, although there's not too much left. The original gas station is viewed and we get to see interviews with the owners who discuss fans coming to check out the location. The Sawyer house is pretty much just woods as the house has been torn down and nothing remains. We do get to see the road, which was used at the end of the film but it too is pretty much gone.
Episode Rating: A-
