Molly Bachman, a young bestselling author buys the apartment of her dreams in the city. As she settles in, ready to start work on her next novel, strange sounds and bumps in the night begin to alarm her, along with the feeling of being watched and followed. As she discovers the dark history of the apartment, she eventually discovers a horrifying secret-a hidden entrance to another abandoned apartment behind the walls. What lies behind those walls leads to a shocking revelation.
It's slow moving and slightly dull at times, however there are some tense moments as well as some creepy moments. There's some creepy atmosphere at times, but the romantic story mars the scary element. I did enjoy it, but I found it average with some aforementioned points. The lead actress and April Consalo are a sight for sore eyes.

Bad acting. Bad script. Every bit of this was predictable, uninspired and a waste of time.
Lifetime used to put out some really great true crime movies and decent fictional movies but now they seem to show more and more of this sort of "lower-than-B-Movie" crap. I really hate to diss Lifetime movies because of how much I used to enjoy watching them. They were never blockbusters but for a mid week night on the couch and a chance to see a B or C list actor play a role outside their daytime soap, sitcom or teen drama, they fit the bill.
It is no surprise that Lifetime now wears the crown when it comes to crap movies if this is all they are willing to deliver. Bring back those good movies. Give people a reason to WANT to watch again.

The acting was horrific. Typical low budget worst actors Lifetime movie that was irritating from the first bit of dialogue. 15 minutes was too long. Who are rating these movies a 6.1? I wonder what these people consider bad if this is good? Have they ever even seen a really good movie? Aside from the handful of good Lifetime movies per year they are all like this now. Can we bring back 90s quality Lifetime please?

I've been a fan of Lifetime since the 90's. And was eager to watch this. What little goodwill I had for it quickly evaporated. The Acting? Dreadful. The Script? Written on a Cocktail Napkin. This is a real slog to get through. And with very little payoff. I was intrigued because the plot sounded interesting. There have been several movies about Stalkers. That have done this plot justice. For example "Under the Bed" is similar. Or "Alone With Her". Even "Ratter" or "Hangman" are better movie. Sorry Lifetime... I cannot recommend this. It wasn't even bad in a Campy way. It was dull as Dishwater. I will say there was a tiny twist. But unless this is the first TV movie you've seen it's not a big surprise.
The film in question certainly captivates the viewer with its intriguing premise and visually stunning execution. However, as we delve into the plot, it becomes increasingly evident that the strength of the plot does not fully live up to expectations.
One of the film's main flaws lies in its script, which, despite presenting an original and promising idea, fails to sustain the audience's interest until the end. From the beginning, we are introduced to captivating characters and a universe rich in potential, but as the narrative unfolds, we realize that the story follows a predictable and uninnovative path.
The lack of surprising twists and the absence of deeper layers in the characters end up harming the overall experience of the film. The predictability of the plot not only reduces tension and suspense, but also makes the viewer lose interest in following the development of the story.
Additionally, the lack of cohesion in certain parts of the script contributes to a feeling of disconnect between different scenes and subplots. Key plot moments feel forced or poorly explained, leaving the audience confused and frustrated rather than engaged in the story.
Another aspect that deserves criticism is the lack of adequate character development. Although they are presented as intriguing figures, their motivations and dilemmas are not explored in depth, leaving them superficial and unmemorable. As a result, it is difficult for the audience to emotionally connect with them and care about their fate.
Despite these flaws, it is important to recognize that the film has merits. Skillful direction and stunning cinematography contribute to creating an immersive atmosphere that holds the viewer's attention. Furthermore, the cast delivers solid performances, even if the material they have at hand doesn't allow them to shine fully.
In short, although the film is undoubtedly interesting in many aspects, it fails to reach its full potential due to the limitations of the script. With significant adjustments to the narrative and a deeper development of the characters, it could have been a masterpiece instead of just an average film.
Can be better, but congrats to everyone involved in the project !
