This episode of "Omnibus" did not feature an original segment with Grandma Moses, but simply replayed the Jerome Hill film devoted to her. Other segments included a brief scene from the medieval morality play "Everyman" as performed by Burgess Meredith and Joseph Schildkraut, Alastair Cooke reading "The Drift to One Eye," a humorous essay by Robert Benchley, and Georges Méliès' 1902 film "A Trip to the Moon." In the introduction to the program, Cooke also read some comments from Winston Churchill regarding the pastime of painting. As always, "Omnibus" was an anthology show geared towards more highbrow interests, run by CBS in an era before public broadcasting took hold of such programming.
