I had almost forgotten my bad memories of the years following 9/11 when frightened by both another terrorist attack and by the obvious intentions of the Bush/Cheney administration to exploit those fears.
This film brought it all back--including how easy it was to fall into conspiracy theories due to the government's unfathomable failure to recognize that an attack was about to take place despite dozens of warnings.
The character of Uncle Lewis (Ted Kazinsky without money and strong family support!) demonstrates what can happen when those paranoid thoughts are permitted to run amok.
But then as the film points out--just because you are paranoid doesn't meant they aren't out to get you...
Worth watching. The film makers did a lot on a shoe string budget and it is to be commended.
