This short contains a lot of big ideas, and could.... rather should be expanded into a feature length film. There are elements of surrealism left unexplored, and it seems like the filmmaker was just touching on these ideas, but somehow constrained within a arbitrary running time. I loved the unsettling location, and the mood. something out of a Stephen king novel. There were also special effects in the film, which surprised this jaded viewer, not something you see in shorts these days unfortunately. there is a lot of ways you can take the story, so the filmmakers should just run with the ideas they present in the film. especially father / son relationship hinted at. so bring on Condemned 2!
