I'm a 20 year old youth from Mt Druit, and this film is very very poor. This film is emblematic of everything that is wrong with Australian film. Utterly boring and useless, showcasing peoples chosen representations of themselves and evading any real kind of truth telling, or even mild entertainment. The fact that Saad is marketing this as 'experimental' is a good indicator of his lack of knowledge about documentary and film making in general. The kind of man who has labeled himself as a great filmmaker before he made anything at all, and created a wikipedia page for himself, his face book littered with self quotes such as '"Be Your Own Master And Achieve Great Success" - Saad Adam', this is an exploitative, arrogant, self-promoting individual who's work is dull and amateurish. I'm just really fed up with this kind of behavior surrounding films in Australia. Where directors act mighty, and reviewers perpetuate the lie so that they have something to write about, but if things are dull, or bad, they should be labeled as such, not praised and advertised. Is it really news filmink that a young person has filmed a few things and could possibly get distribution? What sort of sad industry is it when this is getting published? I actually care about film and art, and the shameless self-promotion of nothing special at all, in the form of this film has really upset me as a sign of a society where bullshit is more important than quality. We don't have to put up with it anymore. stay clear.
