The trailer for the latest indie film from director Sridhar Reddy is here, and it takes us straight to hell. Just without all the excess heat and pitchforking. Check it out!
Lilith stars Bitch Slap's Julia Voth. Be sure to head on over to the director's Lilith blog, where he shares his thoughts on the film's genesis and a whole lot more. Dig on an excerpt below along with some really cool eye candy.
"The concept was to have a large, creepy building where each floor served as a ring of hell, and Satan was in a chest freezer in the basement morgue. The concept was vague and lacked a clear protagonist and antagonist (hell is a force of antagonism, not an antagonist itself), and by nature The Inferno was a passive, observational story, but something about it felt right. Can't really tell you why, but it did. After many days of soul searching,...

After a bunch of teases on a hidden blog, filmmaker Sridhar Reddy is gearing up for Afm by releasing the first official plot details and teaser trailer for Lilith, which stars Julia Voth as a woman traveling through the several levels of Hell. "Contemporary take on Dante's 'Inferno,' 'Lilith' is the story of Sarah Wilson, who finds herself haunted by visions of her tragically murdered younger sister, Lilith. After a night of surreal terror, Sarah is led by her visions of her dead sister into a hellish labyrinth populated by bloodthirsty demons and bedeviled ghosts from her past. Her journey into darkness forces Sarah to confront painful secrets and her innermost fears, and her path back to reality is one fraught with terror, sadness and deception."...

While we’re unsure if director Sridhar M. Reddy’s Lilith will have any Biblical connections, the name is curious enough to evoke the real first wife of Adam (sorry, Eve, you’re wife number 2). Either way, on the official Tumblr, there’s some creepy and neat looking stills and concept art.

A new indie horror film is crawling our way from Sridhar Reddy which, if we do say so ourselves, looks pretty bitchin'. One look at the imagery and concept art inside, and we think you'll agree.

Sridhar Reddy has been in post-production on an indie horror film entitled Lilith for a number of months now and it officially landed on my radar this morning. Julia Voth ( Bitch Slap ) toplines the cast and, while exploring Reddy's blog for the film, we've found some screen grabs, a commissioned poster and his thoughts on the story's genesis.
