So many powerful moments. The father sneaking up on his son to jam the race car helmet on him, their reflections blurring together in the rearview mirror, and then of course the boy becoming the spare tire, which was brilliant. What better way to express that a child being forced to follow their parent's dreams can be counter to their identity, and a sacrifice. Touching ending too.
It's only sixteen minutes long but it's kind of amazing how Sander Joon was able to get across a certain depth in the film's themes. Being that long also means it isn't a big burden to check out, something I would recommend if you have the chance.
