The pizzas at Jesse's party are uncut, like the pizza Walt throws onto the roof in episode 3.2, Caballo sin Nombre (2010). Badger says the pizza place doesn't cut their pizzas and "passes the savings on to you." Some viewers had said that an uncut pizza was ridiculous--and so does Jesse. Venizia's is a real pizzeria in Albuquerque, but they don't leave their pies uncut. The second appearance of the uncut pizza, and the discussion about it, was apparently made up by screenwriters to answer viewers' remarks about the first one.
The first of two episodes to feature Jim Beaver as the gun dealer, Lawson, who would also appear on Better Call Saul (2015).
