The episode opens in the past. We get to know why the daughters reacted angrily at the mention of the competition. Twenty years ago, when Rani Mrinalini passed away, King had devised the Junior Royal Games - to distract his daughters from their grief. What started as the family's attempt to cope with loss, soon turned into a hateful rivalry between the sisters. After years of trying to win against each other, at a party the sisters had publicly humiliated each other. Things got out of hand, and they finally left the palace and each other, vowing never to return. In the present day, now back together at the palace for the first time since that party, they are haunted by bitter-sweet memories of each other and of their mother. Mishraji meanwhile comes up with a fictitious name for the King's fictitious disease - Cardio Solitudinem Intermissimitis. The Navras Royal Games begin. The first round is a cooking challenge ala Masterchef - spontaneously titled Shanti Ras. The competition brings a win for Uma, but it ends in a bitter squabble between the sisters. Kamini calls Uma weak and pitiful, Uma berates Gayatri for having abandoned her. Finally Devyani loses her cool and calls out each of her sisters' weaknesses. Reminiscent of the dreadful party 6 years ago, she once again leaves the palace dramatically, hatefully telling the King there is no place for him in her life. The family is broken again. King reprimands Mishraji for having made a failing plan. The twist in the tale occurs when Devyani, back home in Mumbai, realises that her husband Harsh, is not cheating on her; instead he is broke, and to top it, he has borrowed money from a Don who is threatening to kill him if he doesn't return the money. Devyani needs to swallow her pride and return to Shikharwati with a strategy to win the Navrasa Royal Games.
