A great Wild West soap opera

While Tierra de Lobos has its flaws, and plenty of them, the series is so insanely addictive! I stayed up way past my bedtime too many nights because I had to watch just one more episode.

The central conflict is the outlaw Bravo brothers vs. the very wealthy Antonio Lobo. Fleeing from a bank robbery gone bad in Portugal, Cesar & Roman Bravo settle down in the house left to them by their father. It turns out that the Bravo house & land are the only property that Antonio Lobo does not own in their small town. To complicate matters, the father Fernando Bravo & Antonio Lobo used to be very close friends, and they apparently share a mysterious secret. If all that weren't enough, Cesar & Almudena Lobo, Antonio's oldest of four daughters, fall in love.

As I said, the series has flaws aplenty: the bad guys are often cartoonishly bad, a lot of the crises result from characters doing something so stupid you just have to groan, and too many developing storylines take twists that make little sense. But I forgave the Tierra de Lobos for all of it because I got so crazy hooked into the show. If you're looking for a guilty pleasure to binge-watch, I highly recommend it.

Tierra De Lobos is a must see

No wonder this series is winning the hearts of so many people around the world. It's full of drama, action, romance, and some moments that could make you die laughing. From the first episode of the first season, you get hooked on the plot. The performance of each of the actors in the show is magnificent, and the same thing can be said of those who work behind the camera, the lighting is the best I've seen in any other program, each scene is done with excellence. I am one of their fans anxiously awaiting the beginning of the third season. Kudos to the entire staff of this wonderful series! Tierra De Lobos is what every show should be, a smart series that addresses issues with which anyone can identify, a series that leaves you wanting more. Tierra De Lobos is a must see.

From the very first episode I watched I was hooked, I don't speak fluent Spanish, and I watched a few of the episodes with subtitles and found that it is so well acted emotionally and expressively that I didn't need the subtitles to understand what was going on, the music in the show is very beautifully done and the acting is exceptional, that I even watched the episodes that didn't have subtitles and still managed to understand what was happening. The show depicts issues that haven't really been raised before in shows of the time period and manages to handle the story lines beautifully. The characters are portrayed in a way that even today we can still relate to what they are feeling and the troubles they go through. I recommend this show to anyone who loves period drama's as this is one of the best.

adventure in pure form

love, hate, revenge and fight. two brothers and a powerful master of the territory. a story like many others. at first sigh. it is a western and the ingredients are not different by many other films of genre. but...the script, who is not really bad, the cast , who does a good job, the puzzle of action and romanticism, the tension and the nuances who not reduced the story at good guys and bad guys has the rare gift to seduce and to define it more than mixture of western and soap opera. sure, the adventure, the justice, the shadow of past and the fog of future are the essential pillars but the fact than key characters are the women, the nuances of love, the slices of humor and the music are good points to create it a different identity across the genre. because it has few crumbs of old , classical western. translate in clever manner for the public .
