- After Susan's kidney transplant, her doctor ordered her to abstain from sex for six weeks. Instead, she has racy dreams about... Paul.
She wakes up and finds out that Mike heard her moaning. "Tell me, what were we doing?" Mike asks. He's excited to end their drought in 2 days and 17 hours.
The voice of Mary Alice tells us that the residents of Wisteria Lane are loyal above all else, especially to their friends. Gaby heads out to see "the girls," but Carlos wants to know what girls she means. He's still angry that Bree didn't tell them her son run over his mother. He forbids Gaby from seeing Bree. Outside, Gaby calls Bree. They can see each other from across the street but agree to keep their distance. Bree hangs up to tend to her scones in the oven.
Tom comes home to show Lynette a Weisman Leadership Conference brochure. Warren Buffet and Oprah go. Lynette's especially excited because they have a spa and no kids are allowed.
Meanwhile, Susan checks whether Mrs. McClusky can watch MJ Wednesday night. She knows it's their big night of post-transplant sex. She wants Susan to make Paul clean up her old house, which is a mess. Susan goes over and picks up the mail, which puts her right at crotch height when Paul opens the door. Paul explains he hasn't been out of the house much. Susan doesn't think he looks very good. He insists he's fine.
Susan and Tom see Bob and Lee at the conference. Tom goes to meet Barry Weisman. Lynette waits in line for drinks and meets Meg Butler, president of AmTech. She tells her that only the invitees get to go to the conferences, but the plus ones aren't allowed. Being a former businesswoman, Lynette really wants to hear the key note speaker Chris Cavanaugh talk about economics, but Meg snootily informs her that only the people who worked their way up the corporate ladder are to attend instead of the people who married corporate employees. Instead, the plus ones are going on a scavenger hunt.
Gaby comes to see Lynette, but really Bree is there watering the plants, getting the mail. They're like cheating spouses, Bree noticing Gaby's new coat and worrying what her husband will think. Gaby suggests coffee.
Felicia drops by Mrs. McClusky to bring her a brooch from her late sister Martha. It's Felicia's way of saying thanks for keeping Martha's secrets all those years. Felicia says she won't tell anyone her role that night and she never will. Felicia hopes she'll stop in some time -- she'll be living next door, they're going to be neighbors. Mrs. McClusky remembers that night, when (in a flashback to several years earlier) Felicia came running into her yard with her hand bandaged after cutting off two of her fingers, telling Mrs. McClusky to pretend she never saw her. Felicia mentions her sister, Martha, and that Paul Young murdered her. Felicia tells her that Paul killed her -- they'll find her fingers and her blood and he'll go away to prison. Felicia begs Mrs. McClusky to never mention she saw her, so that Paul can't get away with her "murder," too.
At the conference, the business-minded Lynette tries to give a crap about the Japanese flower arranging. She tries to rally the other wives of the businessmen to revolt in order to attend the conference, but a blonde bimbo-of-a-wife down the line says she's having fun and feels like she's in Japan. Lynette tries to urge the women to storm the gates to get inside, but no one responds to her. The woman leading the arranging gets their attention by bringing out cocktails. Lynette tries to say they're the cocktails of oppression, but caves in and boozes up.
Meanwhile, Bree and Gaby meet for coffee and they talk about how sneaking around makes everything more fun. Bree tells Gaby she cheated on Orson with Karl Meyer. Gaby suggests they sneak away for a spa weekend.
Susan tells Mike about the house they used to live in looking run down. Mike's irritated she saw Paul at all and asks her to stay away from him. Susan showers, but imagines Paul joining her. She wakes up with a jolt.
At the conference, Lynette sneaks into Chris Cavanaugh's key note speech. The flower arranging woman tracks Lynette down with a bathrobe and a cocktail.
Back on Whisteria Lane, Karen McClusky has coffee with Felicia, who explains she was released for humanitarian reasons. Felicia says her only daughter passed away recently, she was barely 30 when she died. Felicia says she was Beth Young. Mrs. McCluskey looks freaked out.
Susan meets with her doctor and asks if it's normal for recipients to have sex dreams about their dead donor's husbands. The doctor suggests it's natural to be concerned about him.
Felicia tells Mrs. McClusky about Paul writing to Beth from jail and wooing her. Felicia thinks that Beth killed herself because Paul said she wasn't worth anything. Mrs. McClusky questions why Felicia would want to live on the same street as Paul, "that monster," but Felicia refuses to give an answer. Mrs. McClusky promises to watch Paul hoping to catch him at something.
Lynette hears Meg driving a hard bargain at the nearby spa. She hears her tell whoever she's talking to on the phone that she wants to grab a soak before the key note speech. Lynette steals her badge while she's in the soaking pool. In the conference room, a helper grabs Lynette as "Meg Butler" and offers her a seat up front. Lynette tries to hide, but she's called up to introduce the key note speech. She cops to not being Meg Butler, but launches into praise of Cavanaugh's book. She doesn't get far when Meg comes in in her bathrobe and announces that there's the bitch who stole her badge and her clothes. Lynette runs off the stage.
Susan pays a visit to Paul. She tells him he's a mess. "And OK, I'm having dreams about us," she says. She says they involve lots of daylight and lots of clothes. She asks him to invite her in. There are leeks, onions and potatoes lying around. He was trying to make potato leek soup. She offers to help.
Meanwhile, Renee drops by Tom and Lynette's to see how the conference went. Lynette's trying to apologize to Tom about attemping to sneak intot he conference, but he doesn't feel like letting it go. He's most upset that after all the years of him supporting her, she couldn't do the same for him. Lynette tries to tell Renee that in Tom's immature and sexist mind, she's a wife and she has to get used to being one at cleaning the house, raising the children, and nothing more. "You can be a wife, or you can be a first wife," she says.
Carlos comes home and sees Pineapple Upside Down cake on the counter. It reminds him of the cake Bree brought to dinner last month. Gaby insists she made it. "It's not that hard, it's just some pineapples and some upside down cake," Gaby says. He suggests she make him one right now and he'll watch. Aware that she is a terrible cook, Gaby goes for the flour. She "accidentally" spills it all over her shirt. Then unbuttons and suggest they go upstairs. Carlos is unmoved. Gaby goes upstairs to change and calls Bree. She comes back downstairs with her bluetooth in her ear and starts on the caramel topping. Bree narrates in her ear. Carlos sees the bluetooth receiver and Gaby claims she's asking her grandmother for help.
Susan makes Paul soup. He asks why she's bothering. At the same time, Mike drops MJ off at Mrs. McClusky's, who references the fact Susan is across the street. Mike sees them through the window. Susan tries to give Paul a pep talk about his old self. She sees Mike coming and goes outside to talk to him. Mike orders her to come with him, but she says she can tell Paul's hurting and is going back inside.
Bree and Gaby both take their cakes out of the oven. Bree's is perfect, but Gaby's is a gloopy mess. Gaby puts hers in the window to cool, then lectures to Carlos about trust as Bree swaps the cakes.
Susan comes home and finds Mike has lit candles and prepared a romantic dinner. Mike realizes Susan is just being herself, the woman who makes him pull over in a rainstorm to take care of a sick raccoon. (She claims she thought it was kitten.) He says he can't stay mad -- especially when it's been six weeks since they had sex, she reminds him. He carries her off to the bedroom.
Gaby prepares to leave for her illicit spa weekend with Bree, claiming she's off to an old modeling friend's funeral. Carlos notices her new raincoat as he hugs her good-bye, then sees a telltale red hair on it. She claims she hugged a clown at a kid's birthday party. He opens her suitcase and finds bikinis -- not clothing for a funeral. He's upset, saying he expected her to choose him. He tells her to prove it and choose between him and Bree.
In the epilogue, Mary Alice reminds us about loyalty as Gaby decides, Susan brings Paul food, Mrs. McClusky hangs out with Felicia and Lynette contemplates her plus-one name tag.
Gaby shows up on Bree's doorstep with her two daughters by her side, telling her Carlos knows. She asks if she can stay with her for a while. The girls come with her.
