Rentaghost was a popular and ever present farcical children's show when I was a kid.
The main cast changed quite a bit during its run. Only ghost jester Timothy Claypole (Michael Staniforth) spooked till the very end.
The quality declined in the latter years. I guess the presence of Christopher Biggins hamming it up was entirely coincidental.
Adam Painting has a new clothing line for ghosts but Timothy Claypole, Hazel the McWitch and Nadia Popov are not happy with the wages they are getting.
Meanwhile Painting wants the Meakers to do some clothes modelling. However they have stopped arguing for a few minutes and decide to hop off on a break without telling the ghosts.
By this time the stories do not make much sense, the humour is broad. More emphasis on silliness but it is still fun, just about. It helps that the cast are all on the same page. Even Biggins.
