Hollyoaks stars recently welcomed Professor Green, Rizzle Kicks, Wretch 32 and X Factor winner Matt Cardle to the set of the soap for this year's Hollyoaks Music Show Christmas special. The musicians filmed exclusive performances at the programme's base in Liverpool earlier this month, as well as taking part in various features with the cast behind the scenes. Sugababes star Heidi Range has revealed that she once turned down a role on Hollyoaks in order to concentrate on her pop ambitions. The Hollyoaks Music Show will return to T4 Saturday next month, after winning a third series. Fronted by former Hollyoaks stars Matt Littler (Max Cunningham) and Darren Jefferies (O.B. O'Brien), the live music programme - sponsored by Matalan.co.uk - will return to screens on June 11. Among the acts showcased on the upcoming series are Peter Andre, The Wombats, Parade, Tinchy Strider and Example.
