Mike Smith, Robb Wells and John Paul Tremblay create a variety show that gets way out of control. Their assistant, Pat Roach, finds them dazed in a hotel room. He tells them they've lost their minds on hallucinogenic berries and all the actors on the show believe they are their characters. Robb and John Paul search for Mike after he's gone missing.
They encounter random characters and are pulled in and out of World War II flashbacks. They're constantly tempted by a blue drug that keeps appearing. They find Mike on drugs in a fly costume before they are kidnapped by themselves.
They escape and realize they're on the set of The Happy Funtime Hour. They're followed by the kidnappers until they reach Dr. Funtime, who gives them more drugs.
The concept of The Drunk and on Drugs Happy Funtime Hour is literally insane. Mike Smith plays 7 characters including himself. They change the setting and characters at random but they intertwine through this crazy blue drug. John Dunsworth and Jay Baruchel have minor appearances.
