The fog starts to clear

Kirby finally confronts Laura, aware that she's more involved with events then she made out previously.

Another very interesting episode with loads going on. Laura is arguably the most interesting character so far, we're unknown as to where exactly she stands, where her loyalties lay, and who exactly she's working for. What job does Laura's sinister Father in Law actually do?

The seventies decor is fantastic, horse brasses galore. The French theme is also adding interest, talk of the French resistance etc.

The acting is once again very good, the music perhaps a little intrusive. Still enjoying it, 7/10

Clause for Concern

Kirby confronts Laura over the death of his old friend Pierre. Kirby knows only Laura knows who he was planning to see.

He also has suspicions over Laura's stepfather. Just who is this Fane and what connection he has with the British government? Fane is something big with the Home Office.

Laura thinks the same when she talks to her stepfather. He seems to know a lot more about Pierre's death.

Meanwhile a new character is introduced. Robin who is Kirby's aviator son. Kirby needs his son to fly him to France.

I thought it was good to see Kirby challenging Laura so soon.

Only at the end of the his episode where there is a seed of what Dangerous Knowledge is all about.

It seems to be something about World War 2, the French Resistance and the KGB. Still the central premise is very obscure.
