Raising the Past
cybermercy18 January 2015
Warning: Spoilers
A parking lot outside of one of the most infamous jails in Canada is excavated by crew of archaeologists revealing a long forgotten grave yard of prisoners executed between 1880 and 1925. Great insight is given in to Canada's past as well as the lives and times of the Convicts their victims and the jail itself. The narrator/host is engaging with out being sensationalist, the re- enactments are well scripted and acted, the archaeologists are enthusiastic, informative, concise and respectful of the dead. In the end, all the remains are give a reburial service in consecrated ground at a cemetery with an even greater history than the Don Jail.

I think it is very wrong to dig up graves of people. This is so wrong even though they did wrong they paid there dept when hanged. This has to stop these people have families and a bunch of idiots digging them up is so wrong. We must put a stop to this. Please stop this it is just wrong if there were Indians there it would not happen. All this so a bunch of under educated kids can get there thrills by digging up the dead. Let the rest in peace. Please put a stop to this. These men have paid there dues when hanged until dead and should not be dug up and examined just for a study.I was almost sick when watching this show these men had families and this is no way to treat the dead. Please think twice before you go on another dig please. Some day it might be you being dug up how would you feel.
