Turns out the rock singer switched over to a dubbed recording as his voice was giving out, but this was at the same moment the crown was stolen.
Not one of the grander efforts, but once again, we get the recycled Scooby Doo 'ghost', in this instance, the brilliant werewolf, and yet again, we get no explanation for the presence of the werewolf.
The supposition is these monsters were 'to scare people away' but they become no part of the mystery. Just suddenly they are there.
Funny bit is in this one, Dotty is the only fan of the rock singer, yet in the Solar Energy Caper, she is a science enthusiast, causing Pepper to exclaim, any other kid her age would be into today's music scene.
