And how do they defeat him? they let him overhear a conversation they fake having with each other and say they will get a bear hunter to track down a bear skin run. What on EArth? The 'bear' shrinks to the size of a cub and runs away. So was he a real bear? Then we get DD and Pepper running from a robot, not so much like Scooby Doo's but a bit more like the Jetsons. Same deal, he is supposed to be an experimental robot, built as a toy, like Scooby's robot, so was he chasing DD and Pepper or not? Not once, but twice, we get Larry blowing his blue bubble gum bubble, meaning he's solved the mystery? And got to love the refrigerators and tvs on the backs of the camels, as if to say, this is valuable, and a kid can recognize such.
