André Deed is taking photographs of a Turkish pasha in his palace. He also takes some time off with a well-clothed harem beauty who teaches him to belly dance.
It's one of the longer, most complete of the Boireau shorts I have seen, tiing in at 15 minutes in the print I watched -- although testing it to run at only ten minutes didn't make anyone seem very frantic. In this one, there is certainly violence, but it's all implied, as when Deed is hauled off to have his head cut off by an executioner with.a comically large scimitar.
