I have been looking for new animated series to watch, and I was quite curious about this anime series after looking at the screencaps and also the artwork anime fans had done. After watching the first ten episodes last Friday, I thought it was another awesome sci-fi, "mecha" anime series.
The story follows a mysterious teenage boy named Takuto Tsunashi who was found on the shore of the fictional "Southern Cross Island" by two people his age, Sugata Shindo and Wako Agemaki. Takuto stays with the two at Sugata's stately home and enrolls at the island's high school. Little do they know that a weird, secret organization known as the "Order of the Glittering Star Cross," with their "mechas" known as "Cybodies," attempt to kidnap Wako, who is the Shrine Maiden of the South, to break her seal to activate a special Cybody. Also, Glittering Star had already broken the seals of the maidens of the north and west. Fortunately for Wako, Takuto fights for her as the "Galactic Pretty Boy" and his Cybody "Tauburn." So that was all I could tell you. You'll have to see this series on either Funimation or Crunchyroll, if it's still on that is.
So anyway, as I said, I love this series with its story and stunning animation. And I really wish the series was on North American DVD.
