- The hunt for the hidden immunity idol widens the rift between two castaways at the La Flor camp, triggering a venomous fight. Meanwhile, a valuable secret is revealed that solidifies a powerful alliance.
- Previously on...: On the older tribe, Marty didn't like Jimmy Johnson's star power, and made moves to get him voted out. At La Flor, Brenda found herself in a position of power without having done much to get there. Kelly B. and Alina found clues to a hidden immunity idol. Espada was distracted by Jimmy T. throughout their immunity challenge, and lost. When La Flor arrived at camp, NaOnka tackled Kelly B. to get an immunity idol clue.
Espada camp: Most everyone is quiet, but Jimmy T. gets up in Dan's grill, asking him if he was going to make it through the night. Jimmy T., in a testimonial, tells us Jimmy Johnson's leadership was little more than a couple of cheerleading speeches. Then he sings a song around the fire as the rain pour down and everyone seems aggravated. Marty tells us Jimmy T. is a "loudmouth." Marty says all he needs to do is give Jimmy T. "a little bit of rope" and let the rest handle itself.
The next morning, the Espada tribe wakes up to find their beachfront was washed away in the night's intense rain, which also brought a bunch of debris to the shore and washed out the bay where they once fished. Jimmy T. observes a pelican fishing just fine, and figured he'd try a similar method. Jane says she and others will soon be missing Jimmy Johnson because he knew how to fish and was the tribe's clear leader.
La Flor camp: NaOnka says she slept well despite the rain, and tells us that Brenda is still working to decipher the clue. They meet on the beach and Alina is looking at them "like crazy." Brenda explains the clue to NaOnka and they head out to find it. The mission is a success. They celebrate together, but NaOnka tells us the idol is hers.
Alina and Kelly B. talk about how much they can't stand NaOnka. They realize that NaOnka and Brenda went looking for the idol, so they set out to find it themselves. NaOnka tracks them down and confronts Kelly B., saying she didn't like her. NaOnka says she's trying to get in Kelly B's head, adding, "Screw your leg. Just keep it away from the fire."
Espada: It's another rough night for the older tribe, but they're encouraging each other to get through it. Marty tries to pull them together and nominates Tyrone to be the leader during the next challenge. Jimmy T. pipes up, saying that he's a leader where he comes from but in this situation he doesn't want to be the leader. He says he might snap now and then and want to be put in to a challenge, but he'll be OK if he isn't put in.
The next morning, they get tree mail, which includes a blindfold. They practice taking instructions from Tyrone, but Jimmy T. starts giving all kinds of advice about what they should do. Marty tells us he nominated Tyrone to lead partially because he knew it would drive Jimmy T. crazy.
Reward and Immunity Challenge: Taking directions from one caller, the tribes have to collect 10 items and bring them back. Then get keys to a trunk and bring that back.
La Flor opts to use the Medallion of Power, giving them two of the 10 items as a head start.
The younger tribe starts strong and never lets up. They win the challenge before the older tribe even has seven items on their mat. Tyrone becomes frustrated with Jimmy T., who was difficult to guide during the challenge.
La Flor wins three items from Sears: They take the fishing gear, a tarp and cooking supplies.
Back at Espada camp: The older tribe tries to get their spirits up, but Jimmy T. pipes in again with how he wants a chance to help the team win. Tyrone asks if he thinks he could have done a better being the caller and Jimmy says he probably couldn't have. Nonetheless, he's coached youth basketball, so he thinks he should be the leader. (There was a guy on this tribe who coached something a little bigger than youth basketball, wasn't there?). Tyrone is getting more and more annoyed with Jimmy.
La Flor camp: Amid the celebration, Chase finds a clue rolled up in the tackle box from Sears. He manages to hide it, but tells Brenda about it. As they walk to the spot where the clue was hidden, Brenda tells Chase that she and Nay already found the idol. Brenda immediately starts worrying that Nay might find out she told Chase.
Espada camp: Jill and Jimmy are hunting for sea urchins, which provide a tiny, salty bit of protein. Marty eats a few and Jimmy starts to question how many he's eaten, and questioning whether Marty was a "team player." Marty gets upset and decides Jimmy T. is going to be the best to go.
Holly and Jane talk about their vote and Jane says she wants to vote Dan out because Jimmy Johnson wrote Dan's name down and she figures he was trying to send the team a message. Jill decides to go along with Marty's plan to vote out Jimmy and she's given a mission by Marty to get Tyrone's vote. Marty, meanwhile, tells us he's trying to protect Dan for the sake of numbers. Tyrone says he wants to vote Dan out, and Jill isn't sure she can swing him. Marty tries to take matters into his own hands, and starts talking about Jimmy T. to Tyrone.
Jimmy begins to worry he'll be headed home because he keeps opening his mouth.
Tribal Council: Tyrone opens Tribal be saying their plan for the challenge went fairly well, but was thwarted by the Medallion of Power.
Dan says he sat out the challenge because he can't do challenges in the mud. Jeff asks if he's worried about being a hinderance to the tribe because he can't slosh in the mud when he's in the rain forest.
Jill says she's frustrated because the tribe is lacking leadership, and she notes that they've "already been through an NFL coach." Jimmy T. pipes up again, saying he wants to lead the tribe in a challenge. Marty says he doesn't necessarily want to give Jimmy a chance to lead.
Holly steps up and says Jimmy just wants a chance, and he should be given one. Jeff asked Jimmy if he could accept the role the team is trying to put him in, to be a follower. Jimmy becomes a bit emotional when he talks about how he's "man enough" to accept a following role.
The vote: Holly writes down Dan's name, saying, "You're the weak one on the team. You need to go."
Jimmy T writes down Dan's name, but Marty writes Jimmy's, saying, "See ya, pal."
Jeff calls out the votes: Three votes for Dan come out first, then four for Jimmy, followed by a fifth, making Jimmy T. the fourth person voted out.
Jimmy T's last words: "It's my own fault. I planned on keeping my mouth shut, and that went right out the window. Marty's the puppet master and he's pulling all the strings. He's playing with his head, and I played with my heart."
