He Loves Me... Better off Not Loving Her **1/2
edwagreen14 March 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Interesting but surreal film where there is a fine line shown between sanity and insanity.

We recently saw a life torn apart by frustration in Natalie Portman's Oscar winning performance in "The Black Swan." Heather Locklear is very much conflicted in a similar fashion as well. That conflict would ultimately push her over the edge.

The problem with this film is that you reach a point where you can't distinguish from what is real to that which is not real.

Even our therapist has the right questions and correct conclusions as she goes on with her examinations, that's why it's surprising that she did not take the necessary precautions.

These type of films often wind up confusing. This film is no exception to that rule.

Was hoping for more

Warning: Spoilers
I only saw an hour of this movie. I did see the ending and was a bit let down. Wanted the disturbed woman to pay for her crimes, I guess the writers decided to add realism to an unrealistic script. Still thought Heather Locklears acting was excellent once again.

Good production, acting - but is it appearance or reality?

Mr Jeff Renfroe does a good job of directing this TV production, he extracts very good performances from the stunningly beautiful Heather Locklear as estate agent Laura, the latter's interested shrink played by Gabrielle Rose, and the handsome male actors (my wife is especially partial to Max Martini) who are husband, lover, former lover, and so forth.

As the film unfolds, though, it emerges that Laura is not just good in bed, she can also can also bring death upon others without any apparent remorse. Using very competent camera work that never distracts you from the story, you are given an insight into what might be a shizophrenic living an imagined life.

No masterpiece, far from it, but enticingly done, even if by the end I was not quite sure what to make of it. 7/10.

Don't let the low IMDb rating fool you.

This was a most enjoyable TV movie with a completely unexpected plot twist. And how could you not like something with the delectable Max Martini in it? Ever since The Unit was (unjustly) cancelled and his character was (sadly) killed off in Revenge, there is just not enough of this man on TV.

The people who gave this such an inexplicably low rating must be teenagers who just aren't interested in a suspenseful movie that concerns the lives of those who are (gasp!) over 40. (And in Ms. Locklear's case, 50!). Or maybe the lack of comic book characters or gruesome, mindless splatter violence turns them off. Either way, don't pay any attention to the low rating given this little gem.

LEFT UP IN THE AIR

I can't believe what I have just seen so confusing in delivery, Heather Locklear is a wonderful actress and personality, becoming a killer, sad, she appears to be living a fantasy, with her marriage on the rock, lot of things just don't add up and in the end she is with family then it is end of movie, leaving me scratching my head. Just like an Alfred Hitchcock movie, too many loose ends. Very screwy to me. I gave it an 8 rating for storyline. Though it left me in a fantasy world. Clever movie I think, I will leave it to others to judge whether this was an epic movie or a terrible flop. I adore Heather Locklear. She made the film work.

KRAY-zee LOVE!

What a GREAT movie!!! With a little more length, it very easily could have been on the BIG SCREEN and not strictly limited to T.V.! The casting is amazing, the storyline, though a little hard to follow at FIRST, takes a surprising turn and the awesome, unexpected twist at the end ties it all together seamlessly. Two viewings may be recommended, but not necessary in the event that any confusion still exists after a single viewing. Don't let the low IMDb rating fool you; could be a result of SOME viewers who just didn't "get" it. Perfect little romantic thriller with some very effective twists and turns! Locklear, as usual, KILLED it!
