They also got to see their mothers (or a boyfriend in Christopher's case). Nice to have to see them with some people they care about. Michael and his mother had a nice conversation, sure he really needed it. It is admirable though how he handled the whole situation. Mondo now likes him, Andy admits that he grew on him, Valerie apologized at the end. He sure is a bigger person, this show strength.
I liked Gretchen's pants. The printed top part was boring, don't get what they liked. I actually liked April's outfit the most I can understand though why Mondo won. Knowing the inspiration of his and how he represented it makes the outfit more interesting even though it already looks original. It looks like a work of art with a message.
Michael's print was not too great, but I liked the dress. with him it was sure he is staying and the judges mainly criticized his styling of the model.
I don't get the whole getting so emotional over the mother coming that one can't work. Can't people manage some time without the mother after the age of 5 without losing it? Please. Am glad Andy stayed though, I didn't mind his outfit much anyways. Valerie surprised me, I thought she will be very strong as she made some very beautiful parts in the first few weeks, and then it all slipped down into boredom for some reason. She does have some interesting outfits on her site now
