The first episode of Season 3 got off to an exciting and mysterious start right away.

The team is visited by the former governor of Utah, who is also very interested in the anomalies and UAP's surrounding the mesa. When the team and the governor meet outside at the table, Eric gets a message on his computerscreen that there is air traffic high above the Ranch. When Eric goes to check this out in the control room, it becomes clear that not only is the ranch being monitored by the federal government, but the entire Skinwalker Ranch area is being scanned in a flying pattern with Lidar. What is the federal government up to, and why are they so interested in the whole area?

The first investigation of this season will start from the sky, high above the "triangle" on the mesa, where the team fired a model rocket last year to collect data, but where at a certain altitude strange things happened. And now, just like last year, the team is again faced with strange and tense moments high in the sky above the "triangle" while conducting the experiment.

I enjoyed the first episode very much, and already I can say that I have high hopes for the new season.

Maybe some say it's too orchestrated or scripted, well I don't!

The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch is exciting, scientifically grounded, paranormal, mysterious, and above all, absolutely recommended.

Only one reviewer noticed the obvious! Somebody in the intelligence community is taking interest in the Skinwalker Ranch. Also, a so-called "failed" test is not really that, it is useful data. I don't know which part of government did the scan above the ranch as the governor visited, but it proves they are interested in what is happening. It also indicates they might be as curious as the people doing the experiments and "the government" doesn't really have a firm grasp on what is happening. For our national security apparatus not to understand a threat is troubling (obviously they are trying to rectify that issue by scanning the ranch). I notice that some people claim that bugs are flying past the cameras. To the gainsayers in this comment area, the team understands what bugs are and the things seen are NOT bugs. I hope they have a season 4 to try to explain some of these weird things. Season 3 is well worth anybody's time who has the least bit of curiosity about things happening in the sky.

Woo a dragonfly goes past the camera at close range while helo is in focus. That's scary science. Maybe you should try digging. Have "Dragan" check for bugs first. I think that's his department?
