Sex & Nudity

  • This episode does not contain any explicit sexual content or nudity.

Violence & Gore

  • In contrast to the non-existent sexual content, the episode does contain many examples of sci-fi/comic styled violence and gore, which may disturb younger kids. Most of this is robot-based, yet shown in a very graphic manner, which some might find unsettling.
  • The most noteworthy examples are:
  • The evil drones called Eradicons constantly get killed or disabled in graphic ways. One has his inner "guts" pulled out, on screen, in detailed slow-motion.
  • The aerial clash between Agent Fowler and Soundwave's flying drone is also violent. It involves gunshots, and the drone actually slices off the tail-rotor of Fowler's helicopter. He is then dragged out of the falling aircraft, and brought to the Decepticon ship, where he is hung up by his hands on chains. Starscream later tortures him with an electric prod.

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • The only thing that might be comparable to using drugs or alcohol is Megatron's usage of Dark Energon. He stabs himself with crystals made of this substance, which causes him to grow stronger, and have full control over his army of undead Transformers. It also has the effect of slowly driving him insane.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The show has many frightening and intense scenes in every episode. All of the fights are furious and shot in a way reminiscent of real action movies. The story has many dark elements and some images are purposely nightmare-inducing.
