There is an urban legend about a Halloween fright house that is so scary, you get some of your money back for each level you make it through. No one has ever gotten a full refund. I had never heard of this urban legend, but first-time director Tyler Christensen has, and has turned that legend into horror film: House of Purgatory. The film stars Brian Krause (Sleepwalkers, Charmed) as The Skeleton, and Laura Coover, Anne Leighton, Brad Fry, and Aaron Galvin as his hapless victims. FEARnet snagged the Exclusive teaser trailer - check it out after the jump.

A Halloween haunted house attraction so terrifying that the proprietors offer a refund to anyone who can make it through the whole thing? Surely there must be a catch. Yeah - you're dead. Welcome to the House of Purgatory.
First-time writer director Tyler Christensen has assembled a cast of relative newcomers (Anne Leighton, Laura Coover, Aaron Calvin, Brad Fry) for this Wisconsin lensed indie fright flick about a haunted house attractive that gives Halloween thrillseekers more than their money's worth.
Every Halloween stories circulate about a haunted house so terrifying that the organizers give money back to people brave enough to make it up each of the 7 floors.
Rumor has it that nobody has ever made it all the way to the top.
Brian Krause ("Charmed", Stephen King's Sleepwalker) co-stars as a character known simply as "The Skeleton", a character I presume will be a sinister being lurking within...
