NBC News’ Peacock Productions has hired production veteran Melody Shafir as Vice President of Development, based in Los Angeles. Shafir will lead all of Peacock's U.S. production as the La, New York, and Miami offices expand. She'll oversee original programming, series, and format development, reporting to Benjamin Ringe, Peacock's Svp of Development and Executive Producer.
