The most intense film ever is fan-made!

This film is great! Sure, it doesn't reach the quality of The Dark Knight, but that would be impossible! For a fan-film, it's incredible! The movie is super-intense, sold by incredible acting and dialogue. Paul Louis Harell pulls of the best imitation of Heath Ledger's Joker that I have ever seen, and Zach Silverman sells it as the hostage. It never gets corny, hammy or forced, the entire film feels realistic and it actually feels like this is what the Joker would do in his spare time: capturing and torturing cops. It's an edge-on-your-seat thriller that I will never forget! If there was one thing i didn't like, it was that the loud breathing got a little too loud, sometimes overshadowing the Joker's dialogue, which is too neat for me to miss out on. Anyway, the writing is great, the acting is great and it is over all a great movie. 9/ 10.

Fantastic Short Film

Fantastic short film. The mood of the film is very on the edge of your seat and claustrophobic. The hostage was superb as a man in trouble and worried about his family. Every emotion he had could be seen without ever speaking until mid film. The Joker was spot on with what Ledger brought to the table in The Dark Knight. The actor honed in Ledger and had his mannerisms and could easily pick up where Ledger left off. At only 10 minutes you are left with wanting more. I would love to see them tackle this again, and tell the story of the Dark Knight from the Jokers perspective. Fantastic acting, great sound and tight camera work will truly give these guys some Hollywood work down the road.
