This is the same plot as the one on Cavalcade of Stars the year before. Ralph goes to get potato salad and while he is gone, a series of people come in, all played by Jackie Gleason. The only performer who is different is a twelve year old trumpet player, Frankie Avalon (sorry, no Annette). These character of Gleason's became his bread and butter for decades. My favorite is Reggie Van Gleason, especially his dancing.
