This is more about the show as a whole rather than specific for this episode.
I'll say the show got really bad at one point then got a lot better in the last half of this season. Rachel Skarsten really is the highlight for me. She plays the most interesting and three dimensional character, doing a nice job being a villain you can empathize with. With that said, the show has such a bad reputation now, it's likely not salvageable.
