Shock Job Trying to Get Away With It
shelbythuylinh9 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
As the guy named Bob really is a scumbag. He really is someone you want to punch. Olivia sends both Amanda and Sonny on an undercover as a married couple now they are dating there.

Still Amanda has been going on undercover despite Olivia feeling she is getting too close and personal there. But still manage to get the shock jock but it does not end there.

Won't spoiler anything there.

There's hope!

Easily the best episode SVU's done in years. Nice intricate plot.

Have to agree with other reviewer's comment on what's become of Hargitay's character. Benson used to have intelligence & wit. (And sex appeal.) Now she never smiles. It's like they're trying to make her look frumpy. Wardrobe does nothing but dark clothes - some COLOR please? And lose that indifferent, barely-combed hide-your-face hair-cut!

Video Killed the Radio Star

Warning: Spoilers
A really bad ending here killed, no pun intended, a fairly enjoyable episode.

A generic bad guy and of course they had to make conservatives villains, but this was still fairly entertaining.

One of the best episodes of SVU ever!

Warning: Spoilers
I've been a loyal fan for more than 20 years, but once in a while even your favorite show can throw a curve ball you will not see coming.

Rarely do we see instant karma or retribution in a police drama, but tonight's episode left me shocked and astounded.

I felt every ploy line, every dramatic twist, every second of this episode was intense until its climatic and unexpected ending, this is how good the actors and writers are.

Long live Law & Order: Special Victims Unit!

Two shoot Center mass

At the center of the story is Rollins. That's why Olivia is a bit in the background.

It's a good episode. It could be better. It is not surprising that the story ends with an ironic ending.

Rollins' secret mission, other surprise role plays were good. It was like the old Svu.

Guest actor Jack Webber was great. He's officially writing the book on egoism, and he's playing great.

These days, there are frequent Cold Case cases in Svu. And when I think of cold case, Nick comes to mind. I miss you Amaro...

Velasco is a good character, he can be developed further. I think he should be the first in moving scenes and cover duties. Therefore, he should be in OC as well.

P.s. The fans felt an electricity between Olivia and Langan. Most likely this must be a temporary leak. We love MarshaPeter, we also love Langan. But Lanson or Bengan together in the series will be a different metaverse. And that would be a mistake.

Moreover; The only person who can be considered a rock against Stabler is Brain Cassidy. If not him, Barba.. Also, Dr. Lindstrom might as well be given a chance. But Langan never... ever... for Olivia.

Thank you!

Yes! Finally! Classic Law&Order: SVU!

This was the perfect episode. It had everything I expect. The focus was on the characters and not some weird agenda. Thank you! I was sitting on the edge of my seat. This new filmic look of the show worked well with this episode. The only downside is that I wish it was 60 minutes instead of 41 minutes. It was a satisfying presentation. Everyone was great and was used well in the episode. Obviously Rollins is the best so, she did her thing.

Warning: Spoilers
One of the best episodes this season, or the last few seasons. Well acted and well written. Bob Flynn wasbone the nastiest villians in a whole. The ending made me cheer.

Interestingly convoluted but please take out the message
schwa8824 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Really kind of bizarre convoluted stretch in the opening scene with Olivia and Rollins, where there's a suggestion made that Rollins is purposely putting herself in danger because she doesn't feel she deserves happiness with Carisi after her really terrible life that she supposedly had before, which I don't know about because I don't know what the history is, but that just seems like a large leap, that you're unhappy life that led you to not trust happiness with your new boyfriend could somehow lead her to try to sabotage that relationship by putting yourself in danger I don't get it makes no sense.

Also, very strange that that was the actual ending with the shooting. I thought for a moment, there would be a part two coming.

Edge of my seat
ebrockbank-7672329 April 2024
This episode had me very much on edge. Usually you can tell where the plot is going and it's just thrilling to watch some really good storyline's but this episode was different but well done. Jake Weber played his role cold and soulless, you were supposed to see what women might think of him but be terrified at the same time and it started to feel a little too real that it started to feel sickening but I also think the way this was shot it really added into the portrayal of how you were supposed to feel in these moments when Rollins was playing her "role" for his character.

Best episode so far of the season.

SVU Violates Everyone's Rights But It's OK
buddybradley-2266519 July 2022
Because they are guilty. Show is too self righteous to be pulling this stuff every week. They need to go back to the original formula and find some real life stories and some law inforcement consultants to keep them in the real world.

What has happened to Olivia Benson??
jrigler-521454 March 2022
This shouldn't have been a bad episode considering the plot. But I am so shocked at how much the character of Olivia Benson has changed that my opinion of the show has changed.

First- her appearance. The dark hair and dark eye makeup makes her look positively evil- and then factor in her grouchy, critical, almost obnoxious behavior toward her co-workers. Also- Olivia used to be stern yet kind and occasionally even funny. I hate how the writers have changed this character into someone I barely recognize.
