- Violent moments are infrequent but quite sudden and shocking when they do occur. A man opens a bathroom door in a supposedly empty building and is stabbed but we only see the knife coming out of the darkness at him before the cut to the next scene. Another man is shot but again the scene fades out and his death is only implied by sound.
Profanity

- There is very little actual dialogue in this film but the main character tells the story in his voiceover narration. He swears quite a lot- usually "S" and "B" words with the occasional "F" word.

- The main character is an alcoholic and is frequently seen drinking (beer, wine and vodka) during the film, in all but one scene alone rather than socially. He also smokes a lot and talks about his addiction in his narration.

- Two characters are stalked by a hitman carrying a knife in an empty apartment. The moment when he stabs one of them is quite sudden and unexpected.
