The Diplomat has always had some strong elements of The Crown associated with it and we got that in spades here as not only was the majority of the episode confined to one area, but mostly confined to one table tonight.

This episode really dove deep on the impact of issues with Russia and the repercussions, something you don't always hear about when it comes to the mainstream media. In the end Kate Wyler made a very neocon move, although you have to wonder if this is a setup (I tend to think that it definitely is).
