simply o.k.
A fine film. But compared with the film that it's the behind the scenes of, it is jarring to be just average. Nevertheless it is nice for little videos like this to be made to stick onto DVDs (where I saw this). I did learn a bunch of things about the original film, which had not soaked in from simply watching that. Perhaps I'll learn more from Revolutionary Road's commentary track. Hey, the DVD's "special features" are part of why I chose that DVD to borrow this time, and if that hadn't been the case, wouldn't I have missed out on such a wonderful Revolutionary Road in the first place, eh? I watched this the next day (after Revolutionary Road) but maybe one of its nice aspects is that you COULD watch it right after the film itself, as otherwise that perhaps would have been too intense. If you want an example of one of the things I learned from watching this video, I'm afraid I did not even realize before that the lead actress and the director are married. :)
