(Aotn) We were honored to have the chance to catch up with true Renaissance Man producer, director and writer Deon Taylor. Taylor and his film studio Hidden Empire Film Group are poised to have an absolutely phenomenal year. Currently, Taylor has just wrapped production on the upcoming psychological horror film “Motivated Seller” which will star Michael Ealy, Dennis Quaid and Meagan Good. He also has two additional films currently in post-production which are “Traffik” and “Akuma” and other project that is also coming down the pipeline in the very near future.

Django Unchained's lead is set to write, direct, executive-produce and star in a new five-part Syfy horror anthology...
Short of writing the theme tune and singing the theme tune (a Little Britain/Dennis Waterman nod for up-to-the-minute reference spotters, there), Jamie Foxx is planning to write, direct, executive produce, and star in a new five-part horror anthology series due to air on Syfy around this Halloween.
Described by Collider as a riff on Tales from the Crypt and The Twilight Zone, the new post-Night Tales Foxxhole project will comprise "truly scary cautionary tales" according to Syfy's President of Original Content, Mark Stern. Anthology horror and sci-fi series are a particular favourite of many around these parts, so we'll certainly be keeping an eye on this one.
