American Dad has been consistently good for a long time, but this season it seems like something is different. A lot of the episodes just feel lazy and this really highlighted that here. Boring from start to finish.

This one's slightly better than the last episodes, but it's still below average for American Dad. The best, truly awesome, episode in this season (so far) is episode 2, Dressed Down. The rest of the episodes are pretty bad, and I'm saying this as someone who watched all episodes and still thinks American Dad rocks, unlike The Simpsons or other rundown sitcoms.

This episode is a new low. Even American Fung had some story to it (although it was basically a rehash of season 1's episode when Stan forgot their anniversary).
This episode was just boring. I don't mind if not every episode is funny. I actually would welcome it if the show would go for a Southpark thing and would do a whole season with one story arc. But what was this???
Does Stan even work for the CIA anymore? He seems able to take weeks off of work at any time! And what happened to this guy who was always a tough conservative? Now he is some child-like man child and it's just not the Stan I knew over the last 16 seasons.
Not to mention the whole ending...at least in that episode when Francine had acid thrown in her face, they solved it by the end. But lately, it's just like every episode is its own universe.
I thought season 16 couldn't be topped as the worst season, but season 17 is really giving it a run for it's money!
