Pretty decent for Latin American football fans
ronaldame1 December 2012
The movie describes with testimonies, interviews, behind the scenes and in the pitch footage how the Chilean National Team won it's ticket to the final phase of 2010's World Cup in South Africa and what in meant for the Chilean people.

To be able to really feel and enjoy this movie you need two things: really like football and have some background on Chilean national team football history or Conmebol qualification history. The 2nd thing is really important since there's a lot of random scenes and people that maybe you don't know who they are and if you don't have a context it's really easy to loose track and stop watching the movie.

Because there's a lot of live footage the audio is a mess and it looks like because of the live footage some scenes of the matches are cropped because they can't show some brands in the movie. So technically it is a mess. So you must have some patience with it.

You may ask, why a 7 for this movie? well, it was made with a purpose and you can feel that purpose. Is a classic history of how a team beat its historical demons and how even something that may look as a small accomplishment for some it's the sweetest victory for others.

By the way. I'm not Chilean, I'm from Mexico and here get this ticket is more an annoying task than an heroic battle. We always get it but because of the lack of quality competitors in the zone. So it's great movie for the football fans and Chilean people. Hope you can be able to show your special kind of passion in the next world cup.
