• Violet MacReady : You said I'd never get to you. Guess you were wrong. You messed with the wrong nurse, hombre.

  [Laz Swan struggles to get free] 

  Violet MacReady : Don't bother trying to move. There's nothing you can do.

  Laz Swan : What d-did you... do to me?

  Violet MacReady : I added a little surprise cocktail to your IV. Relax. It won't kill you. It just causes temporary paralysis. You'll be able to feel everything I do to you. Unfortunately, you won't be able to move or call for help.

  [walks over to a tray and picks up a scalpel] 

  Violet MacReady : Remember when you told me that you wanted to go out something fierce? Well, guess what? You're gonna get your wish.

  [starts cutting Laz Swan open with the scalpel] 

• Lilith : [as a night shift duty nurse]  Are you all right?

  Violet MacReady : Yeah. I'm fine. Just... another jerk in the ER. What is wrong with people?

  Lilith : They're human.

  [checks the mail and sees a letter addressed to Violet] 

  Lilith : Oh, this one's for you; it's from the boss.

  [hands Violet the letter] 

  Violet MacReady : [opens the letter, reads it and becomes very confused]  This doesn't make any sense. My transfer to the day shift was denied.

  Lilith : I'm so sorry.

  Violet MacReady : But I didn't talk to Amy about the transfer and Greg's not gonna see her until tomorrow.

• [Violet MacReady slowly puts on a nurse's uniform. Greg comes behind her wearing a medical scrub and a doctor mask. He grabs her and turns her around] 

  Greg Cooper : The doctor is in.

  [takes off the doctor's mask and unzips Violet's nurse uniform, revealing her bra underneath] 

  Greg Cooper : And it's time for your physical.

  [They slowly kiss] 

  Violet MacReady : What's the prognosis, Doctor?

  Greg Cooper : Increase in body temperature... rapid heart rate. We're gonna have to start aggressive treatment, stat.

  [He picks Violet up and tosses her onto the bed. He then takes off his doctor's uniform and they make love. He then turns her over and wraps a stethoscope around her neck] 

  Greg Cooper : Oh, yeah.

  [They continue making love. A short time later, Violet has the stethoscope on and his it on Greg's heart] 

  Greg Cooper : What are you listening for?

  Violet MacReady : I'm checking to see if you love me.

  Greg Cooper : Oh. And?

  Violet MacReady : [moves the stethoscope under the covers]  Yes. Big time.

  Greg Cooper : Oh, ho, ho.

  Violet MacReady : [kisses Greg]  Happy anniversary. It's after midnight. We've been together a year now.

  Greg Cooper : It seems longer.
