- Two former inmates released from prison are set to launch an attack somewhere in London.
- Section D are facing a suicide bomb threat, when two prisoners are released. Having been trained for martyrdom in prison, one of the released convicts, Ashur Mohali is an MI5 asset, who's been made a promise that if he had spent two years in prison gathering information to help stop a terrorist attack, he and his daughter will be given UK citizenship. While the team try to prevent the attack and keep Ashur onside, Harry and Ruth make a decision to gather evidence against CIA Deputy Director Jim Coaver, now suspected of impersonating Harry and pursuing information from Elena Gavrik. Things takes a turn for the worst when Elena is attacked, and revelations lead Ruth to believe that it is indeed Coaver that is responsible for the attacks on the Gavrik's and MI5. Meanwhile, Erin has to make an impossible decision when the teams operation causes her to be compromised when her own daughter is put in danger. Ruth informs Harry of her offer from the Home Secretary, not wanting her involved in what's coming, he asks her to leave Section D.—Sugarhorse Anna
- Harry Pierce briefs his team on CIA Deputy Director Jim Coaver posing as him him to gather information from Elena Gavrik. Ruth Evershed comes up with a plan to prove that Jim Coaver is behind it all but requires the assistance of Elena and her son. Section D is on full alert when they get information that a terrorist attack is being planned. The mastermind behind the plot is Zubeir al-Saad, an imprisoned radical who plans on using other young Muslims to stage the attack. Among them is Mani Jones, a recent convert to to Islam and Ashur Mohali, who is working with MI-5. He's been promised that his young daughter will be able to join him in Britain in return for his cooperation. The planners of the attack are soon onto the fact that MI-5 have someone on the inside. To make sure he goes through with the bombing, they have kidnapped Ashur's daughter. To keep MI-5 out of it, they have also kidnapped Erin Watt's daughter.—garykmcd
